Bio
Craig G. Rogers, MD, FACS, is interim chair of the Department of Urology and professor at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. He is chair of the Department of Urology, Vattikuti Urology Institute, at Henry Ford Health.
Rogers obtained his medical degree from Stanford Medical School. He completed his urology residency at Johns Hopkins affiliated hospitals and a fellowship in urologic oncology at the National Cancer Institute.
Rogers specializes in kidney, prostate and adrenal tumors. He has lectured and demonstrated surgery techniques at numerous national and international meetings and authored more than 200 publications and 20 book chapters. Rogers is co-director of the Michigan Urologic Surgery Improvement Collaborative for kidney cancer (MUSIC-KIDNEY). He has supported research teams in achieving publications and research funding, including NIH and DOD grants.
Rogers is involved in several professional organizations and has served in leadership roles. He is past president of the Society of Urologic Robotic Surgeons and he is on the board of directors of the Endourological Society.
